Acting Drunk On Ativan ok, ive been taking ativan for about 5 years. was prescribed to help with my panic/anxiety attacks. i started out taking 1mg twice a day. took it for 3 months daily and then i decided i wanted to come off of it. i had to miss work and did not sleep foron 3 days ... PROS: Fast acting. CONS: Doesnt always work, not as strong as some others ..... No real complaints except when I take it I tend to feel a little like I`m high or drunk only in the way where I`m not afraid to say what ever comes to mind<wbr>. acting drunk on ativan Ativan(lorazepam) is a short acting benzo. To get to an optimal situation I`d hafta .... So 1mg Lorazepam is like 2 beers, 3mg is like a 6 pack (for beginners), 6mg+ is like being shitfaced drunk. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL IN& ... If you take a whole 2mg bar however you will be very out of it...drunk pretty much...xanax and ativan basically last the same amount of time, they are both short acting though in my opinion xanax lasts up to 6 hours..your best& ... Like really drunk. That`s what other people have said anyway, I have never been drunk so I don`t know, but other people said that I looked like I was drunk. I got very nauseous and dizzy.
